Come sweet death, second impact...
Anyone else depressed with the state of things? The average person seems content to let the ever-shrinking anonymity we have disappear to age-verification laws. In the guise of "Protecting Children", they strip away our online freedoms as much as possible. Or, maybe they really do want to protect the kids; but effectually, it turns out the same. The intentionality matters little, in my opinion. The onus of keeping children away from harm should be on the parent, as it always has been. To micromanage us like this is ridiculous; why must I suffer for the faults of the stupid? Seriously, just don't let your child use the internet. It is not this impossibility that some make it out to be. No, they just cannot be bothered to do that. Thus, the governments of the world see their chance to step in and take digital fingerprinting to unforeseen levels. What the hell are we doing? It's not even as though people are unaware of the problems either. They seem to want this for the world, and I cannot for the life of me figure out why. Fuck man. The state of affairs could be better, in a worldly sense. The damage that continental philosophers have wrought on the Western World cannot be understated. It seeps into the politics, into the culture and poisons everything it touches. There is an ideological rot permuting this world, and I intend to purify it in my lifetime. Analytic philosophy and Logic need to undergo a metamorphosis: a tempering of the steels those before me have left us.
